UNINTECH’s passion for engineering excellence can be seen in every award they’ve won in their 30 years of business.

Over the past 30 years, Unintech Consulting Engineers, Inc. (UNINTECH) has had a hand in creating various award-winning projects. And it’s not hard to see how they’ve managed to do that – since 1992, UNINTECH has demonstrated a passion for providing quality, and award-winning, engineering & surveying services to a wide-variety of clients throughout Texas and the United States. 

UNINTECH’s passion for engineering excellence can be seen in every award they’ve won in their 30 years of business.  In fact, a lot of their most celebrated awarded projects can be seen right here in San Antonio! UNINTECH proudly provided their structural engineering expertise to renovate SAISD’s historic Alamo Stadium, and for their dedicated work, they were awarded the Engineering Excellence Award by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Texas. For the Ingram Road Bridge project, UNINTECH was awarded the Project of the Year in the Transportation category by the Texas Chapter of the American Public Works Association (TX-APWA). 

Did you know that UNINTECH has also worked on award-winning parks? UNINTECH provided structural engineering services on the Elmendorf Lake Park project that was awarded the Environmental Project of the Year by the TX-APWA. And not long after UNINTECH provided structural & surveying services on the City of New Braunfels’ Fischer Park, the Texas Recreation & Park Society caught wind of the beautiful park and awarded it the Park Design Excellence Award. On top of that, UNINTECH also worked on the Apache Creek Greenway trail system for the City of San Antonio that became part of the U.S. Department of the Interior’s National Recreation Trails! How awesome is that?

UNINTECH has also received various award-winning projects from the Precast Concrete Manufacturers Association (PCMA) and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), including:

  • University of Houston Parking Garage #6 – PCMA Best Medium Parking Structure (Up to 2500 Spaces) (2020)
  • Cavender Jaguar Land Rover Dealership and Service Center Parking Garage – PCMA Best Multi-Use Parking (2020)
  • American Airlines IOC & TCC Parking Facilities – PCMA Best Large Parking Structure (Up to 5000 Spaces) (2020)
  • City of Austin Planning & Development Center Parking Garage – PCMA Best Mixed-Use Parking (2021)
  • Gillman Auto Group Garage – PCMA Best Parking Innovation (2021)

The awards don’t stop at projects – UNINTECH also has award-winning engineers, surveyors, and officers in their ranks! Senior Survey Project Manager Lynn Savory, R.P.L.S, was recognized by the Society of Professional Surveyors, on both the State and National level, earning the Young Surveyor of the Year, and the Presidential Award twice! 

UNINTECH’s Vice President, KW Chan, P.E., was recognized by the American Institute of Architects for his civil engineering services work on the Tiendas Del Rio River Extension & Commerce Street Bridge. And President/CEO W. Elisa Chan was named a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by the San Antonio Business Journal. She has since earned plenty of awards for her action in the San Antonio community, including the Community Leadership and Service award by the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the Quinceanera Awards Gala – Political Award by the La Prensa Foundation. She was also honored by the San Antonio Mobility Coalition for her “Outstanding Leadership and Dedication to Improve the San Antonio Metropolitan Area’s Transportation System.” Talk about community involvement!
