Description

Civil engineering design and survey services were provided by UNINTECH for various development projects initiated by VIA Metropolitan Transit on a task order basis.

The three year contract’s scope included all preliminary, final design, and construction phase services. Our engineers provided site feasibility studies related to zoning, platting, SW3P, traffic planning, utility relocation, street and sidewalk improvements and storm water management. We also coordinated all activities, communication and provided QA/QC to ensure each project stayed on schedule and on budget. Topographic and boundary surveys, easements, and setbacks were provided by our survey field crews. After the original three year contract was completed, UNINTECH was retained by VIA for an additional two years.

    UNINTECH was the prime consultant for this project, which purpose was to improve the existing Bridge 155. The existing one-lane bridge structure spans Gilleland Creek Tributary with an overall bridge length of 140 ft., was replaced to a new two-lane bridge.
